INDIAN ECONOMIC SYSTEM: AN OVERVIEW

India is a South Asian region that is the seventh largest in area and has the second largest inhabitants in the world. India covers an area of 3, 287, 240 sq km and its population stands at 1 . 215 billion dollars people in 2010. Understanding the Indian Economy

Significant, dynamic and steadily expanding, the Of india economy is definitely characterized by a huge workforce with many new industries of opportunity. The Indian economy is one of the fastest developing economies and is the twelfth largest in terms of the market exchange rate for $1, 430. 02 billion dollars (2010 India GDP). In terms of purchasing electricity parity, the Indian economy ranks the fourth largest in the world. However , low income still remains to be a major matter besides variation in income. The Indian economy has become propelled by the liberalization guidelines that have been instrumental in boosting demand along with trade amount. The growth charge has averaged around seven percent since 1997 and India could keep it is economy developing at a healthy rate possibly during the 2007-2009 recession, owning a 9. 668 % progress rate in 2010 (India GDP Growth). The biggest boon towards the economy comes in the shape of outsourcing mostly in the regions of technical support and customer solutions. The economy of India can be as diverse since it is large, with a number of major sectors which include manufacturing sectors, agriculture, materials and handicrafts, and providers.
